McLean, Va., 2016 - Women's Network in Electronic Transactions (Wnet), the premier organization dedicated to women in payments, congratulates immediate past president, Linda Rossetti, president, Bluestone Payments, LLC on being honored with the ETA Pay It Forward Award.  This award recognizes and thanks the unsung everyday heroes who work in the payments industry and make the world a better place through community service.

"Linda has always had a passion in life for helping women.  She is motivated to support and mentor women in their careers and encourage personal enrichment," said Chris Lee, Wnet President and President, North American Strategic Partnerships & Emerging Markets, Moneris Solutions.  "She also developed Wnet's Local Interest Network Circle (LINC) program to foster networking and mentoring to assist women to achieve greater personal success at a local level."

Besides her work with women in payments, Linda has paid it forward through her support of breast cancer research.  Her mother's breast cancer inspired Linda to personally donate to the cause and develop the Pink Payments Program to provide merchant services and electronic payment solutions for businesses of all sizes.

"The ETA Star Award is the payments industry's premier honor, given to individuals and businesses making meaningful advancements in the payments industry," said Jason Oxman, ETA CEO.  "TRANSACT is where the world's payment industry leaders and innovators come together, and there is no better occasion than the ETA President's Dinner to recognize industry luminaries like Linda Rossetti."
