Women's Network in Electronic Transactions to Take Center Stage at ETA TRANSACT
Awards, Keynote Panel and Networking Session Enable Leaders to Hear Directly From Peers on Ways to Empower a New Generation of Payment Industry Leaders
WAKEFIELD, Mass. – April 16, 2018 – The Women’s Network in Electronic Transactions (Wnet), the premier professional organization representing women’s leadership in payments, announced today the organization is leading a series of events at ETA's TRANSACT. On Wednesday, April 18, 2018, Wnet will present the keynote panel in partnership with TRANSACT, "The Future of Commerce;" announce the winners of its Diversity Champion Awards, and host a Wnet Networking Session - revealing details on the new 2018 Wnet Leadership Summit in Atlanta.
“Our industry is changing rapidly, and our programs at TRANSACT reflect that achieving diversity is both an evolutionary process, and vital to our industry," said Wnet Executive Director Lisl Dutterer. “Wnet is pleased to present, for the first time at ETA TRANSACT, the Wnet Corporate Diversity Champion Award. Established by Wnet leaders, the award recognizes companies that are making diversity a priority by cultivating environments where the power of diversity is embedded throughout their corporate culture.”
Wnet Diversity Champion Awards, Wednesday, 9:15 a.m.
The Wnet Diversity Champion Awards recognize leadership in the areas of inclusion, respect, and diversity in the payments industry. Presentation of the first Wnet Diversity Champion Award will be held from 9:15-9:20 a.m. in the Exhibit Hall on the Trustwave Keynote Stage.
Keynote Panel: “The Future of Commerce,” Wednesday, 9:20 a.m.
Presented in partnership with ETA, the 9:20 a.m. keynote panel will discuss how organizations must adapt to the rapid pace of innovation and change in the industry. The panel consists of leaders from a wide range of payments technology industry verticals and areas of expertise, including:
- Carol Grunberg, Head of Global Key Accounts, Ant Financial / Alipay;
- Kim Fitzsimmons, US President, Chase Commerce Solutions;
- Jennifer Miles, Executive Vice President North America, Ingenico;
- Reetika Grewal, Head of Payments and Strategy Solutions, Silicon Valley Bank; and

Wnet Networking Session, ETA Membership Lounge, Wednesday, 5:00 p.m.
Wnet will host a networking session in the ETA Membership Lounge. This year’s networking event, which is open to men and women, will offer networking and a chance to meet others who could shape the future of the industry. Wnet will share news and information about Wnet’s growth, programs, and opportunities. Wnet will also announce how the Wnet Leadership Summit in Atlanta will be a platform for creating more leadership positions for the talented women in the payments industry and discuss the unique challenges, opportunities, accomplishments, and perspectives from both genders that we all encounter in our professional lives.
