Arun Yang has worked across a myriad of strategic and operational roles in Payments and Education. In his current role, he is the Director of U.S. Partner Acquisition Business Development & Strategy at American Express. His team is responsible for driving business development activities and strategic initiatives to grow merchant acceptance with third party acquirers and global strategic partner accounts, responsible for driving $19B in volume from new merchants acquired and $32B in volume from aggregators, marketplaces and digital merchants. Other roles he has held at Amex include leading global field enablement and customer analytics as well as in Strategic Planning, working as part of the CEO’s internal strategy team.
